Prof. Lab ASA (Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate) in red (Red) is a professional technical material that is a direct, improved successor to ABS plastic. It is characterized by outstanding resistance to UV radiation, increased mechanical strength and excellent color stability. Unlike traditional ASA, this optimized formula is characterized by very low odor emissions, increased ease of printing and reduced processing temperatures. Ready-made prints have an elegant, smooth, matte finish and show minimal tendency to yellow over the years. The intense red shade makes this material an ideal choice for the production of electronics housings, automotive parts, assembly elements, functional prototypes and components working outdoors.

• Exceptional resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions: The material does not degrade, does not crack and does not lose its mechanical properties or color depth under the influence of long-term exposure to sunlight, rain or extreme temperatures.

• Optimized for ease of printing: The modern polymer formula allows the use of much lower nozzle (180°C - 240°C) and table (50°C - 60°C) temperatures than standard ASA. This clearly facilitates the control of processing shrinkage, reduces the risk of edge curling (warping) and allows for trouble-free operation on most 3D printers.
• High dimensional accuracy: Strict control of the 1.75 mm line diameter (with a tolerance of up to ±0.03 mm) guarantees stable, repeatable and smooth flow in each extruder without the risk of thickening and nozzle clogging.
