The traditional, extremely user-friendly PLA base has been reinforced with high-quality carbon fibers (Carbon Fiber). The use of proprietary processing inhibitors significantly increases mechanical resistance and stabilizes the deep, carbon color. Ready-made prints have an exceptionally matte, raw finish with a subtle texture that spectacularly disperses light and almost completely masks the micro-boundaries of individual layers. Thanks to minimal thermal shrinkage, this material allows you to easily create large-sized models without the risk of deformation. It is an ideal choice for the production of light and rigid structural parts, drone frames (UAV), functional prototypes, housings, as well as visual elements with a modern, sporty character.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Optimal printing parameters depend on the specificity of a specific 3D printer model, the efficiency of the cooling system and the design of the hotend. The following data constitutes the manufacturer's official guidelines:

• Head temperature (hotend): 220°C – 250°C

• Bed temperature: 95°C - 110°C (Note: The higher table temperature range provided by the manufacturer guarantees maximum adhesion; when using appropriate substrates, such as PEI or adhesive adhesives, this value can be adjusted to your own standards of working with a PLA base)

• Important equipment note (Hardened nozzle): Carbon fibers have strong abrasive properties. To work with this filament, you should absolutely not use standard brass nozzles which would quickly become uncalibrated. It is recommended to use nozzles made of hardened steel, tungsten carbide or with a ruby tip with a diameter of at least 0.4 mm.

• Storage: Although the PLA base absorbs moisture slower than nylon, carbon fiber composites tend to have micro-water retention at the boundaries of polymer-fiber structures. It is recommended to store the spool in a tightly closed container or string bag with a strong moisture absorber.
