Prof. Lab PLA is a material extremely easy to use and perfect for beginners and advanced users who focus on the reliability and repeatability of everyday prints. The material has excellent interlayer adhesion and very low thermal shrinkage (low warping), which allows for trouble-free printing on almost any machine, without the need for a closed working chamber. The Chocolate color is perfect for the production of decorative models, toys, gadgets, figurines, prototype elements, housings, as well as mock-ups and artistic projects.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

To obtain the best results of surface smoothness and optimal bond strength of the layers, it is recommended to use the following settings:

• Nozzle temperature: 185°C - 215°C (Recommended starting point is approx. 200°C)

• Table temperature (Heated bed): 25°C - 60°C (For glass or PEI coated platforms, the optimal range is 50-60°C; when using adhesive bases, cold printing is also possible)

• Print cooling: 100% (Intensive blowing from the second layer is recommended to obtain clean details and impeccable overhangs)

• Compatibility with nozzles: The material is fully homogeneous and safe for all types of nozzles. It can be successfully printed on standard brass, steel or ruby ​​nozzles with diameters from 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm.
