Unlike traditional gradient (rainbow) filaments, the advanced Dual-Color technology involves the simultaneous co-extrusion of two independent colors longitudinally in one thread (coextrusion). This means that delicate pink and rich gold are visible on the surface of the model at the same time, dividing the thread circumference precisely in half. When rotating the finished print, the colors shimmer smoothly, interpenetrate and dynamically change the arrangement depending on the viewing angle and the incidence of light. The unique Silk polymer base guarantees a luxurious, glossy finish with a natural silk structure that phenomenally disperses light and almost completely masks the micro-boundaries of the layers straight from the working platform. • Fascinating two-color shimmering effect (Pink-Gold): Thanks to the co-extrusion of two perfectly composed colors in the cross-section of one thread, the finished print acquires a unique, metallic-satin character that shimmers smoothly under the influence of the movement of the solid. This allows you to achieve spectacular results without having to invest in expensive multi-material systems.
• Spectacular silky shine (Silk Effect): Special refining additives give the outer walls a high, almost mirror-like shine. The smooth structure perfectly disperses light at the edges, making the nozzle lines almost invisible to the naked eye.
• Exceptional ease of printing: Despite advanced optical modifications, the material retains all the greatest advantages of classic PLA. It is characterized by negligible thermal shrinkage, no unpleasant odor and excellent adhesion to the substrate (no edge curling / warping).
• High layer cohesion: Silk modification improves the flexibility and ductility of the material, making the layers bond extremely strongly, and the finished prints are much more brittle than in the case of standard, unmodified PLA.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Silk Dual-Color materials are extremely easy to process, but the intensity of the final gloss and the stability of the two-tone effect depend directly on the thermal parameters and printing speed. The following data are recommended guidelines:

• Head temperature (hotend): 200°C - 230°C (Tip: A higher temperature in this range usually allows you to obtain the maximum, almost mirror-like shine of the polymer from the material, while a lower temperature gives a more matte-satin finish)

• Table temperature (bed): 40°C – 60°C

• Print cooling: 80-100% (Intensive fan airflow helps maintain impeccable geometry of details, sharp edges and smooth overhangs)

• Tip regarding thread guidance: To obtain the most stable, consistent and predictable distribution of both colors on the surface of the model (e.g. gold on one side, pink on the other side), it is worth ensuring that the filament does not twist axially between the spool and the extruder when fed to the machine. The material does not have abrasive properties - standard brass nozzles can be used without any problems (recommended diameter min. 0.4 mm).
