Smart Print Silk PLA in the Transparent (Clear) version is a unique decorative filament, created to achieve unconventional visual effects. The Silk line is characterized by a modified polymer structure that gives prints an intense, satin-silk shine. In the transparent variant, the lack of covering pigments means that the material retains its natural translucency, and the light refracted on the layers creates an amazing effect of inner glow and depth. Thanks to advanced inhibitors, the material has gained increased mechanical durability and impeccable optical purity. It is an ideal choice for creating artistic models, illuminated elements (e.g. using LED diodes), unique lampshades, vases, crystals, Christmas decorations and exhibition displays.

Features and benefits:

• Silk gloss and depth effect (Silk Finish): The unique finish makes the outer surface reflect light spectacularly. In the colorless version, this allows you to achieve a pearl-glass effect that perfectly masks micro-gaps between the layers.
• Light transmittance: Depending on the thickness of the side walls (outlines) and the density and pattern of the infill, you can control the degree of transparency of the model - from slightly diffused satin to high translucency in single-layer printing (vase mode).
• Increased durability and stability: Modern inhibitors in the polymer structure increase the mechanical strength and cohesion of the layers (adhesion), preventing delamination of models compared to standard, budget silk filaments.
