Smart Print TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) in the Transparent (Clear) version is a professional, flexible engineering filament with excellent resistance to abrasion, tearing and multiple mechanical deformations. Thanks to the optimally selected hardness of 95A on the Shore scale, this material perfectly combines the elasticity of rubber with the ease of printing similar to classic rigid materials. The special transparent formula allows you to obtain semi-transparent or transparent walls (depending on the thickness of the outlines and the degree of filling), which facilitates, among others, optical control of fluid flow inside printed details. It is an ideal choice for the production of seals, vibration-isolating pads, optoelectronic elements, flexible covers, bumpers and protective cases.

• High flexibility and shape memory (Hardness 95A): The material has excellent ability to control stretching and compression. After removing the load, the printed detail seamlessly returns to its original geometry, showing no cracks or permanent deformations.
• Transparency effect: The lack of coloring pigments allows you to create details that transmit light. It is perfect for printing LED-illuminated elements, flexible cables and medical and laboratory prototypes.
• Extreme resistance to wear and chemicals: TPU is famous for its exceptional resistance to friction and dynamic impacts. It also shows good stability in contact with many technological oils, greases and detergents, which allows it to be widely used in mechanics.
• Excellent adhesion of layers: One of the greatest advantages of polyurethane is the perfect bonding of subsequent layers (extremely strong thermal weld), which makes the finished objects monolithic and fully tight, e.g. in terms of keeping liquid or air in.
• High dimensional accuracy and printing instructions: Fixed line diameter of 1.75 mm (with a tolerance of up to ±0.03 mm) facilitates even dosing. Important tip: Flexible materials require a lower printing speed and a properly routed, tight filament path in the extruder (the best results are obtained with Direct Drive extruders, although printing on Bowden systems is also possible with appropriate calibration).
