Product Description

Smart Print PETG filament 1.75mm 1KG – Matte Black | Premium Prof. Lab

Combine the uncompromising technical durability of PETG polymer with an extremely elegant, non-reflective finish. Professional Smart Print PETG Matte filament in the Matte Black version (Deep Velvet Black) is an advanced premium engineering and decorative material from the prestigious Prof series. Lab, produced in Poland by the renowned company Imagine s.c. A special structural modification of the copolyester allows you to obtain a completely matte, satin surface immediately after printing, without the need for time-consuming post-processing. The matte texture of the outer walls perfectly disperses light, making the nozzle transition lines and layer micro-boundaries almost invisible to the naked eye. It is a reliable, durable material designed for demanding industrial and aesthetic applications - ideal for printing electronics housings, assembly devices (jigs & fixtures), structural elements and display details.

Properties and advantages of the Smart Print PETG Matte Black filament:

  • Noble, matte finish (Low-Gloss): Eliminates the plastic shine typical of classic PETG. Gives prints a professional, factory look (end-use quality) and deep, technical black.
  • Excellent mechanical and chemical resistance: The material is characterized by high impact strength, impact resistance and chemical stability. The prints are stiff and at the same time less brittle than standard PLA.
  • Extreme interlayer adhesion: Optimized melt rheology guarantees powerful bonding of successively applied polymer paths, which directly translates into excellent structural strength of models in the Z axis.
  • Negble thermal shrinkage (Low Warp): Despite its technical properties, the material has very good dimensional stability during printing, minimizing the risk of curling the edges of the detail on the heated table.
  • Exemplary dimensional precision of the thread: Rigorous control at the extrusion stage ensures a constant filament diameter of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.03 mm, which guarantees fully stable, smooth and repeatable material feeding.

Technical parameters and specifications:

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Engineering materials from the Prof. series Lab PETG Matte require stable thermal conditions of the work table to obtain 100% adhesion and optimal geometry:

• Head temperature (hotend): 220°C - 250°C (Tip: Printing at higher temperatures in this range strengthens interlayer connections, while lower temperatures favor deeper matting of the surface)

• Bed temperature: 95°C - 110°C (Heated work table required; to facilitate removal of finished models and protect the PEI/glass table surface, it is recommended to use appropriate adhesive agents)

• Print cooling: 0-50% (To obtain maximum mechanical strength, minimal or complete air flow is recommended; higher cooling values can be used for precise bridges and overhangs)

• Hardware tip (Nozzle): Despite its matte structure, the filament does not have abrasive properties. It can be fully safely used with standard, popular brass nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm and above.
