The special formula of modified polylactide allows for obtaining a completely matte surface finish free from light reflections. This structure of the outer walls disperses light brilliantly, making the nozzle transition lines and layer micro-boundaries almost invisible to the naked eye. The use of proprietary optical and structural inhibitors not only stabilizes the deep, snow-white color, but also increases the mechanical durability and internal cohesion of the material. It is an ideal choice for both beginners and professionals, perfect for printing architectural models, designer interior elements, electronic housings, busts, sculptures and functional prototypes that are to look like a serial product (end-use quality).

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

PLA matte materials are extremely simple and repeatable in processing. To obtain a perfect, reflective surface texture, the manufacturer recommends using the following starting settings:

• Head temperature (hotend): 190°C - 220°C (Tip: Lower temperatures in this range contribute to obtaining an even deeper matte effect, while higher temperatures may slightly increase the cohesion of the layers at the expense of a delicate satin gloss)

• Table (bed) temperature: 50°C - 70°C (For full safety and perfect adhesion of the first layer, standard cleaning of the table with isopropyl alcohol / IPA is recommended)

• Print cooling: 80-100% (Maximum or high fan airflow is recommended for perfect reproduction of sharp edges, bridges and small geometries)

• Hardware tip (Nozzle): Despite its matte structure, the filament does not contain abrasive abrasive particles (such as carbon or glass fiber). It can be completely safely printed using standard brass nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm, without fear of accelerated wear of the equipment.
