Prof. Lab PLA Woodis a unique, advanced composite filament combining the ease of printing classic polylactide with real, finely ground wood particles. Thanks to their unique structure, the finished models gain an amazing, organic look, a characteristic matte texture, and during thermal treatment they emit a subtle, natural wood scent. It is an ideal material for creating artistic projects, decorative elements, architectural models, sculptures and unique functional prototypes, which, after printing, can be subjected to traditional mechanical processing, such as grinding or varnishing.

• Authentic wood effect: The content of natural fibers makes the layer lines almost invisible, and the model gains an elegant, matte and rough finish.
• Versatile post-processing: Ready prints can be sanded with sandpaper, sawed, painted and stained, which allows you to obtain unique color effects and perfectly smooth surfaces.
• Ease of layer positioning: Despite the composite structure, the filament maintains low material shrinkage and excellent adhesion to the table (low warping coefficient), which translates into dimensional stability of projects.
• High line accuracy: Strict diameter control of 1.75 mm (with a tolerance of up to ±0.03 mm) ensures even material feeding through the extruder. Important tip: Due to the presence of wood particles, it is recommended to use a nozzle with a diameter equal to or greater than 0.5 mm to completely eliminate the risk of micro-clogging.
