Professional Smart Print PLA+ filament in a classic, deep shade of blue (Blue) is an advanced, modified new generation premium material, manufactured in Poland by Imagine s.c. The plus formula was developed for users looking for a material with much greater impact resistance than standard polylactide. Thanks to the use of special impact modifiers, this material is characterized by reduced brittleness, less susceptibility to cracking and excellent interlayer cohesion. The saturated shade of blue is distinguished by an elegant, satin surface finish that works perfectly with light and masks the micro-boundaries of subsequent layers. It is a reliable choice for printing functional elements, crack-resistant prototypes, housings, mountings and everyday details exposed to stress.

Properties and advantages of the Smart Print PLA+ (Reinforced) filament:

• Increased strength and flexibility: PLA+ modification significantly reduces the natural brittleness of pure PLA. Prints are more resistant to impacts, stresses and cracking during mechanical processing or everyday use.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Filaments from the PLA+ series have a slightly higher temperature window compared to the standard version due to the presence of strength modifiers. To obtain optimal mechanical properties, it is recommended to use the following settings:

• Head temperature (hotend): 200°C - 220°C (Tip: Printing in higher values of this range improves the bonding of layers and the mechanical resistance of the solid)

• Table (bed) temperature: 50°C – 60°C (Traditional surface degreasing with isopropyl alcohol / IPA is recommended)

• Print cooling: 80-100% (High airflow efficiency facilitates precise mapping of sharp edges, bridges and eliminates deformations of small elements)

• Hardware tip (Nozzle): The material does not contain hard structural particles and does not have abrasive (abrasive) properties. It can be fully safely used with standard brass nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm and above, without fear of accelerated wear of components.
