Smart Print ABS+ (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) in a professional, technical gray color is a high-class technical engineering filament, intended for the production of fully functional parts and heavily loaded mechanical components. Thanks to its advanced formula enriched with special modifiers and inhibitors, this material is characterized by increased structural strength, excellent color stability and excellent interlayer adhesion. Ready-made prints are characterized by high stiffness, high impact strength (impact resistance) and resistance to higher operating temperatures. The neutral, gray shade perfectly highlights the geometry of the models, facilitates the visual assessment of prototypes and gives them a factory look. It is an ideal material for printing electronics housings, machine parts, mounting brackets, automotive components and elements subject to post-process processing (e.g. smoothing with acetone vapor).

Features and benefits:

• High mechanical and thermal resistance: Elements printed from ABS+ are characterized by excellent hardness and resistance to scratching and cracking under dynamic loads. The material retains shape stability at much higher temperatures than classic materials such as PLA or PETG.
• Susceptibility to mechanical and chemical processing: ABS+ can be easily ground, drilled, threaded and painted. Additionally, the models can be chemically smoothed with acetone, which allows you to obtain a perfectly smooth, shiny surface resembling an injection mold.
• Constant diameter and high dimensional accuracy: Strict control of the geometry of the 1.75 mm line (with a tolerance of up to ±0.03 mm) guarantees stable, repeatable and smooth flow in each extruder without the risk of thickening and clogging the nozzle.
• Printing tips (Important): As a classic technical material with a specific processing shrinkage, ABS+ requires stable environmental conditions. To obtain the best results and minimize edge curling (warping), it is necessary to use a well-heated table (95°C - 110°C), a closed working chamber and ensure good ventilation in the room.
