Filament PLA Carbon Gray 1.75mm 1kg Gray z węglem Smart Print
Product Description
Smart Print PLA Carbon Fiber filament 1.75mm 1KG – Gray (Gray Reinforced with Carbon Fiber) | Premium
Choose uncompromising stiffness, lightness and an exceptionally simple printing process. Professional Smart Print PLA Carbon Fiber filament in gray is an advanced premium composite material, produced in Poland by Imagine s.c. The engineering combination of easy-to-process PLA polymer with high-quality carbon fibers (Carbon Fiber) resulted in a structure with unique mechanical properties. The material is characterized by outstanding dimensional stability, very low processing shrinkage and a deep matte surface finish with a characteristic, technical carbon texture. It perfectly disperses light, making the boundaries of individual layers almost invisible to the naked eye. It is an ideal choice for the production of durable structural parts, drone frames (UAV), stable handles, measuring equipment housings and precise mock-ups and visual models with a sporty, modern design.
Properties and advantages of the Smart Print PLA Carbon Fiber filament:
- Extreme structural stiffness: The addition of precisely cut carbon fibers dramatically increases the modulus of elasticity (stiffness) of standard PLA plastic. Printed elements are hard, exceptionally resistant to deformation and deflection under heavy load.
- Extremely low shrinkage (Minimal Warping): Carbon reinforcement acts as a natural geometry stabilizer while the deposited material paths cool down. This minimizes the tendency to curl the edges (warping) or crack the print on the print bed, making it easier to work with large models.
- Excellent aesthetics and layer masking: The deep matte, gray structure of the composite gives the finished prints a professional, factory look. The satin surface effectively hides the micro-limits of the nozzle passage, eliminating the need for time-consuming post-processing.
- Lightness and dimensional stability: The composite allows the final element to be very low in weight while maintaining strict geometric tolerances of the design, which is crucial in the modeling, aerospace and robotics industries.
- Exemplary dimensional precision of the thread: Strict production control ensures a constant filament diameter of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.03 mm, guaranteeing even and smooth material feeding through the extruder without the risk of clogging the nozzle.
Technical parameters and specifications:

(Polish product)
Recommendations and suggested print settings:
Optimal printing parameters depend on the specificity of a specific 3D printer, the efficiency of the cooling system and the design of the hotend. The following data constitutes the manufacturer's guidelines:
• Head temperature (hotend): 220°C – 250°C
• Table temperature (bed): 95°C - 110°C (Note: The higher table temperature range provided by the manufacturer guarantees maximum adhesion of the first layer; using modern PEI boards or dedicated adhesive agents, this temperature can be adjusted to your own standards of working with the PLA base)
• Important equipment note (Hardened nozzle): Carbon fibers have strong abrasive properties. Standard brass nozzles should absolutely not be used to work with this material, as they will quickly become uncalibrated and destroyed. It is recommended to use nozzles made of hardened steel, tungsten carbide or with a ruby tip with a diameter of at least 0.4 mm.
• Storage: Carbon fiber composites tend to micro-retain moisture at the boundaries of polymer-fiber structures. It is recommended to store the spool in a tightly closed bag or container with a strong moisture absorber (silica gel) to reduce thread formation during printing (stringing).
