Thanks to advanced modification of the polymer base, Prof. Lab PLA+ shows perfect layer bonding and minimal thermal shrinkage (minimal warping). Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Due to the reinforced polymer base of the PLA+ series, to obtain optimal melting and the highest mechanical strength of bonds, it is recommended to use slightly higher operating temperatures than with standard PLA:

• Nozzle temperature: 200°C - 220°C (The recommended starting point is approx. 210°C to obtain the perfect balance of aesthetics and durability)

• Table temperature (Heated bed): 50°C – 60°C (To ensure a stable grip of the first layer on glass, textured tables or PEI sheets)

• Print cooling: 100% (Intensive blowing from the second layer allows for perfect geometry of sharp details and impeccable overhangs)

• Compatibility with nozzles: The material does not contain abrasive particles and is 100% safe for all types of brass, steel or coated nozzles with diameters from 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm.
