Lab in a unique shade of Sand Gold is the highest quality new generation material, produced in Poland by Imagine s.c. The PLA+ series was created for users looking for a material with significantly higher impact strength, lower brittleness and increased resistance to cracking than traditional polylactide varieties, while maintaining the legendary ease of printing.

Thanks to advanced modification of the polymer base, Prof. Lab PLA+ shows excellent layer bonding and minimal thermal shrinkage (minimal warping). The unique Sand Gold color is a subdued, matte-satin shade of gold with a noble character, which perfectly disperses the light, giving the finished models an exclusive look and effectively masking the boundaries between subsequent layers. This material is an ideal choice for both beginners and advanced printers who need a reliable material for durable everyday applications, mechanical elements, interior decorations, luxury gadgets, fall-resistant figurines and demanding architectural and artistic projects.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

Due to the reinforced polymer base of the PLA+ series, to obtain optimal melting and the highest mechanical strength of bonds, it is recommended to use slightly higher operating temperatures than with standard PLA:

• Nozzle temperature: 200°C - 220°C (The recommended starting point is approx. 210°C to obtain the perfect balance of the structure's aesthetics and its strength)

• Table temperature (Heated bed): 50°C – 60°C (To ensure a stable grip of the first layer on glass, textured tables or PEI sheets)

• Print cooling: 100% (Intensive blowing from the second layer allows you to maintain perfect geometry, sharp details and impeccable overhangs)

• Compatibility with nozzles: The material does not contain abrasive particles and is 100% safe for all types of brass, steel or coated nozzles with diameters from 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm.
