Professional, fast Smart Print HS-PLA (High Speed) filament in a vivid green color (Green) is an advanced technical and decorative material from the Prof series. Lab, produced in Poland by Imagine s.c. This material was designed specifically for modern, ultra-fast 3D printers (such as CoreXY and Delta systems) and advanced rapid prototyping. Thanks to the modified rheology and increased fluidity index (MFI), the material liquefies instantly in the heating block and solidifies extremely quickly after leaving the nozzle. This allows for stable and repeatable printing at speeds significantly exceeding the capabilities of standard PLA, while maintaining impeccable layer consistency, edge sharpness and expressive, vivid surface colors. It is an ideal choice for the rapid production of functional prototypes, mock-ups, housings and decorative elements, where the maximum reduction of the total machine operating time is important.

  • Optimized for High-Speed: The unique polymer formula allows for trouble-free printing at very high feed speeds and high volumetric flow rate, preventing under-extrusion.
  • Instant cooling and stability: The material quickly hardens after extrusion, which guarantees perfect reproduction of complex overhangs, sharp arcs and impeccable bridging even at an aggressive work pace.
  • Exceptional interlayer adhesion: Despite the fast application rate, individual paths blend perfectly with each other, providing prints with a compact internal structure, high mechanical strength and reducing the visibility of layer boundaries.
  • Low shrinkage and problem-free: The material retains the flagship advantages of polylactide - it is characterized by negligible thermal shrinkage, no tendency to curl the edges (warping) and no unpleasant odor during processing.
  • Exemplary dimensional precision of the thread: Strict control at the extrusion stage ensures a constant filament diameter of 1.75 mm with a strict tolerance of +/- 0.03 mm, which guarantees smooth and stable feeding of the material through the extruder.

Recommendations and suggested print settings:

The HS-PLA series filament has an extremely wide temperature window, which makes it easier to adapt to different speeds and heating systems (both standard blocks and HF / Volcano type).

• Head temperature (hotend): 180°C - 240°C (Tip: When printing at extreme speeds, it is recommended to use higher values in this range, e.g. 220°C - 240°C, to ensure an adequate and smooth flow of molten plastic)

• Table temperature (bed): 50°C – 60°C

• Print cooling: 100% (High efficiency of the model cooling fans is crucial to fully exploit the potential of High Speed)

• Hardware tip: The material does not contain abrasive particles - can be used completely safely and without restrictions with standard brass nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm and above.
